Holiday Toy Program
The annual Holiday Toy Distribution is the culminating event for all our fundraising efforts each year. We take pride in helping families in need and going above and beyond to ensure all families have what they need.
Helping Hands 365 has joined forces with the Morrison County Toys For Tots Program, run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The Program's mission is to give toys and gifts to children whose parents may be unable to afford to buy gifts during the Christmas season.
Helping Hands proudly assist the Morrison County Toys for Tots program . As a result, we can ensure all donations for the program will be distributed to children and families in our local communities. by providing gifts for all children in the home up to the age of 18. Our program is unique as we allow grandparents raising their grandchildren to sign for the toy program. Christmas Means More
When Helping Hands 365 helps with the Toy Distribution, it is the most fulfilling thing ever and the significant event of the year, and we work tirelessly to help raise funds and other items for it. We pride in helping families in need by providing for children. Every day the lives of our children change. It can be a great day or a bad day. It can turn to be the worse day they imagined where they think no one is there for them. This is the time of year, even though we should do this all year, this time of year means more to them than anything. They want to get something from Santa, and if it means we all have to be Santa for a short period of time, then let it be. Santa means happiness! Santa means smiles! Santa means toys! Santa means caring! Santa means more to our children than anyone even thinks. Do you remember what your thoughts were when you were 5 years old?

This is what we work so hard raising funds for all year. It is an extremely great feeling to know that you helped a family in need either be able to put a gift under the tree for the children Christmas morning; or even just be able to know that they will have a home-cooked meal on the table without worrying how they would be able to afford food for the week. Not only do we provide gifts for the children, but we also try to provide food baskets to those families that need it. Along with the toys available at the distribution we ensure that there are stocking stuffers available for all age groups and genders; and sometimes we are even provided knitted items (hats, mittens, scarfs) from local families that worked all year to ensure that there would be a substantial selection to provide for the distribution. We also work with Walmart to help us provide some clothing and other items that the Toys for Tots are not able to provide.
